View

There are scenic views from all sides of the cottage, including mountains, range lands, orchards, pastures and valley views of the city. Red-tailed hawks, coopers hawks, kestrels, owls and turkey vultures regularly patrol over the area and can be seen almost daily. Occasionally deer, raccoons, and coyotes wander through.

More Information

The pasture right outside the cabin is also available for guests travelling with horses.

Kelowna International Airport is within a 15 minute(s) drive.
Golf: can be reached by driving for 3 minute(s). There are more than 10 golf course(s) nearby. Each of the following world class golf courses can be driven to in 15-20 minutes: Towers Ranch, Black Mountain, Gallaghers, The Harvest, the Bear and the Quail at the Okanagan Golf Course, and Sunset Ranch. Predator Ridge is about 30-35 minutes away.
Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Located on the eastern side of the city of Kelowna, it is a short 35-40 minute drive to the Gem Lake Express chairlift at Big White Ski Resort. Reaching Silver Star Ski Resort will take about 1 hour.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). The closest mall is about a 7 minute drive away, with the majority of the Kelowna malls and shopping areas being about 12-15 minutes away.
Lake is located within a 15 minute(s) drive. Although it is too far to walk to Lake Okanagan, it is an easy vehicle drive taking about 15 minutes in normal traffic.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund unless re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - American Express - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
Rates are based on 2 person occupancy, minimum 2 night stay. Each additional guest is $25 per night. Holidays and the night before are payable at peak rates and are a minimum 3 night stay.

Policies

No smoking is allowed.
Children are allowed.
Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
Dogs are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
