Biarritz lies on the Bay of Biscay, on the Atlantic coast, in southwestern France. It is adjacent to Bayonne (France) and 11 miles from the Spanish border.
Biarritz is a large town and one of the principal resorts on the Côte Basque, and probably the most famous part of the Pays Basque.
