With only a five-minute drive from downtown, it is easy to visit the Calgary Zoo, Botanical Garden and Prehistoric Park on St. Patrick’s Island in the Bow River. Walk through six acres of botanical gardens. Treat yourself to brunch at the Safari Lodge. The Prehistoric Park uniquely presents an image of Western Canada as it may have looked when dinosaurs roamed this area.
