This private retreat is fully furnished with all the comforts of home. The private drive is 1/2 mile off of Hwy 550 on County Road 12. Nine miles from Ouray, 26 miles from the Montrose Airport and 35 miles from Skiing in Telluride.
Find luxury and comfort as you pull into the warm garage where the fire wood is cut and waiting for you to toss into a cozy fire place. The view from the porch is breathtaking. Check your email on our free fiber-optic high speed internet. Browse the abundant channels while watching TV on a large flat screen. Each bedroom has its own private bath with soft towels, soaps and amenities. Wake up at sunrise and cook breakfast in our fully stocked kitchen. Check the cabinets for coffee, creamer, flavorings and sugar.
If you have a horse and would like to bring it along, you can ride the Cimarron trails, Blue Lakes or the National Forest. We have superior accommodations. Our barn offers large indoor 20' x 20' stalls, turn out pens, and an Olympic size riding arena. Parking is not an issue; our turnaround drive is easy to use with plenty of room to park trailers, ATV's, snowmobiles or campers.
If you like to walk, take a stroll down the road or cut through the field to town. Get a coffee at the coffee house or taste the artisan cocktails of the Trail Town Distillery. Browse the pottery shop and enjoy a pizza at Panny's. If you like fine dining, cross the street to the Cimarron Café. If you are a sports fan, catch the latest game in their sports bar. Stroll through town and visit our Train Museum and Antique shops. Stop at Timber Ridge Clothing Shop for a great souvenir or drop by the Colorado Boy Brewery for a micro brew. Listen to music by our local artists, or go dancing at the Historic Sherbino Theater. Get some great pictures in our town park. Hartwell Park is the home of the original movie True Grit filmed in 1969. Elevate yourself while hiking the 17 mile River Walk, the paved path takes you past the library and along the Uncompahgre River to the Dennis Weaver Memorial Park. 2 miles up the road is the famous Ouray Hot Springs where you can soak and soothe in the relaxing lithium pools. Shop the town of Ouray or swim year round in Ouray's heated outdoor pool. Take a 4-Wheel off-highway adventure that will bring you to some of the most stunning landscapes in the Rocky Mountains. The Brooklyn Road and Imogene Pass are the local favorites. Biking, hiking, climbing the waterfalls, mine tours, horseback rides, fly fishing and rafting are just a few of the things you can do.
