For something a little different take a mule ride along 1,700 foot sheer cliffs before heading back to relax in your vacation rental.

The East end of Molokai is great for a day trip. Take a drive along Kamehameha V Highway with mountains on one side and a fringing reef on the other. Snorkel, picnic or take a guided hike through the valley. The East end of Molokai is dotted with several towns with vacation rentals.

It doesn't matter if you choose accommodations in the western section, or prefer condo rentals in the east; you are never far from adventure as the island of Molokai is just the right size to drive in one day.
