There is a variety of hiking trails leading up the popular ski mountain.
A map can be obtained from the base lodge. The Long Trail can be accessed from Stratton-Arlington Road (off Route 100). You can hike or snowshoe up Stratton mountain and ascend one of the taller peaks in Southern Vermont. There are some easy hikes leading up to a waterfall in Jamaica State Park in East Jamaica. Hikers can swim or wade in the small pools at the base of the waterfall.
