Seton Lake is the main recreation lake destination in the region because of the massive size of the lake, the many activities permitted on the lake and because of its close proximity to the community of Lillooet, British Columbia, Canada. On the lake is a public park, with a fishing pier, swimming area, hiking trail, viewpoints and small sandy beach.
The scenery while exploring on the lake is very majestic. Seton Lake is a popular lake for boating, sightseeing tours, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing and sailing. The lake is elongated and stretches for 27 kilometres. It is one of British Columbia, Canada's deepest lakes. A lake stocked with rainbow trout, lake trout and dolly varden.
On the western tip of Seton Lake is an access road leading to the Villages of Seton Portage and Shalalth. The gravel road leads deeper into the wilderness back country and connects to a massive network of trails and roads. Closer to Seton Lake is a series of popular trails also. Two to make note of include the Seton Ridge and Nosebag Trails. Also nearby, is the popular rock climbing destination referred to as the Cayoosh Wall.
