weather permitting. In the winter you will get to enjoy a world class ski mountain where downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing will be the highlights of your day. With 1,240 hectares and 115 marked runs, the average annual snowfall of 700cm/276in of champagne dry powder, will produce reliably fine conditions. The temperatures are just perfect – cold enough to keep the snow in pristine condition without you freezing!
There's an good blend of easy, intermediate and advanced terrain with plenty of extreme action to satisfy serious thrill seekers. In the summer, there is lift access for mountain biking and hiking from the end of June through to the September long weekend. The temperatures are usually several degrees cooler than the scorching Okanagan Valley. Sunny and warm for outdoor dining yet cool enough for outdoor hiking and biking activities. Trail difficulties range from green to double black. The area abounds with wildlife in summer. Say hello to wild animals such as black bears, lynx, deer, and hawks.
