Sorrento, situated in a strategic way between the Gulf of Naples on the north and the one of Salerno on the south, it’s one of the most famous tourist attractions of Campania. The city, from which the area from Vico Equense to Massa Lubrense takes the name, is on a tuff side 50 metres high on the sea. It’s inhabited by 17.500 people and it has an extension of 9,9 squared km.

Patron Festival of St. Antonino (February) - On February 14th, Sorrento opens its cenebrations for one of the Christian festivities among the most felt ones by its inhabitants, that is the patronal festivity of St. Antonino the Abbey. An event which is cured in details every year, organized by the Municipality and by the Tourist Board of Sorrento.

Leonelli’ s Beach is an historical bathing establishment that has been managed by Leonelli’s family for three generations. It is located in Sorrento in the center of a wonderful natural bay from which it is possible to admire the magnificent view.

Not far from Sorrento is a wonderful beach that is backed by dramatic cliffs. The beach's name is Punta del Capo Beach, and only adding to the allure are the nearby Roman ruins. Also found near sandy Punta del Capo Beach is a great swimming hole that is known as the Bath of Queen Giovanna. Sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling are among the top activities at Punta del Capo Beach.
