Mid Mountain Marathon(September): This scenic singletrack marathon traverses Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, The Colony and Canyons at an almost level 8,000 feet. The vistas include enchanted forests, glowing aspens, and red maple trees. The marathon begins at Deer Valley's Silver Lake Lodge and finishes here at Canyons.
Pond Skimming Contest (March): It’s one of those traditions that has been wild from the start. The Pond Skimming Contest is Canyons’ most popular party and is the true indicator that spring has arrived. Contestants must dress in costume (the funkier the better) as they attempt to cross a 100-foot pond on skis or a snowboard.
