Our Castle offers nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms, two kitchens and enormous salons and dining areas both inside and out. For our winter guests the castle offers modern heating, six roaring fireplaces and thick feather duvets.
Palazzo and the Village of Macerino were built in the 16th century on the foundations of a medieval fortress that was once a Locanda, or stop along the road for dining and rest. Both the Village of Macerino and Palazzo have been lovingly restored.
The interior design of the magnificent Italian Manor offers comfort, privacy and convenience. Dishwashers, Satellite TV, Internet and under-floor heating make it modern, cozy and luxurious.
The grounds of Palazzo offer a large swimming pool with extraordinary views of the mountains and forests of Umbria. The gardens are landscaped with lawns and flowering perennials, five-meter climbing roses bloom from May to October and Jasmine winds to the rooftop circa 15 meters and giant lavender plants invite butterflies throughout the summer. A large veranda for dining overlooks the valleys of Spoleto and Assisi and the Subasio and Vettore mountains.
