To the north of Cognac and the well known distilleries is a little town called Aigre with all amenities such as bars, cafés, restaurants and a lovely market. On the edge of this town is this property overlooking maize fields on one side and completely private and enclosed on the other side with a superb swimming pool and large gardens for children to play in. The large town of Angoulême known for its cartoon museum also has a huge lake with a beach that is superb for waterskiing at a short distance. A little further is Cognac with a daily market, boat trips on the river Charente, interesting museums and nice pedestrian streets full of trendy shops. For a day out do not miss La Rochelle with the old harbour and famous aquarium as well as the multitude of restaurants along the water. Parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
