This detached modern villa, standing in large grassy grounds, in a quiet residential area, is set on the hillside on the edge of Mimet where there are good local shops, café and restaurant. The colourfully tiled kitchen and pretty dining room open onto the dining terrace with long reaching views over the garden and private pool, out to the Mont St. Victoire. The French windows from the living room open onto the front gardens and another terrace, making it ideal for summer, outdoor living. This is good walking country with nearby marked footpaths leading to the Massif de l Etoile, from whose summit can be seen the plain stretching out to the Mediterranean at Marseille. The elegant city of Aix-en-Provence with its museums, festival and renowned Cours Mirabeau, the lively beach resorts of Cassis and La Ciotat and the sheltered calanques and sandy beaches can all be reached in about half an hours drive through the countryside and landscapes made famous by Marcel Pagnol. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
