Quiet Retreat near Atenas on the Slopes of the Central Valley of Costa Rica

Welcome to our country property. We are located just outside of Atenas, Alajuela, Costa Rica. This is a fully furnished and fully equipped two bedroom, two bathroom house on a large acreage. We overlook the central valley down toward Alajuela City and the volcanos beyond. This is a new, modern house with all the amenities you would expect to find in your own home.
We are just 15 minutes to the Interamericana Highway, 20 minutes from the international airport, and 40 minutes from downtown San Jose. From here you are also only an hour from the ocean at either Jaco or Puntarenas. As you can see, it's a great point from which to do day tours. Atenas has been touted as having the best climate in the world: never too hot nor too cold or too humid with breezes shifting through the mountains.
