Located in the centre of Puyreaux village, just two minutes from Mansle, this detached house, used in the 18th century as a relais de poste, is set in a floral garden in large grounds with a private swimming pool. The property has been tastefully restored with the interior modernised and well decorated with a modern oak fitted kitchen, old tiling and lovely fireplaces, making it very spacious and comfortable offering a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Mansle is close by and offers canoe kayak, cafés, restaurants and a market. A 15 minute drive away is the town of Angoulême with the lake of St Yrieix famous for water skiing and windsurfing and the old town offering museums and interesting old shops. A little further are the distilleries of Cognac, the town of Jarnac offering boat trips on the River Charente and the Marais Poitevin (Green Venice). The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
