Originally the gatehouse to the 14th-century manor, this stone cottage enjoys a peaceful, relaxing setting, yet is close to many of the well-known historic sites of the Dordogne valley. It has been renovated to provide up-to-date facilities, while retaining its former character. The living area is high and spacious, with oak beams and stone walls, the shared extensive grounds have a swimming pool and panoramic views over the valley and woods. The helpful owners live close by. Nearby Trémolat boasts a superb water sports centre with swimming pools, sailing and water skiing, and locally there are many small, family-run auberges to linger in over a relaxing meal. Parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
