North of Bordeaux, in the Médoc region, between the ocean, lakes and estuary and surrounded by famous wine châteaux, this property is at the entrance of Moulis-en-Médoc. With a double sauna, large enclosed garden, palm tree, olive tree and huge heated swimming pool with all extras such as heating and sliding cover, this is an ideal place to relax. This property is very comfortable and characterful having kept the old tiling, fireplace and beamed ceilings. The kitchen opens on to the terrace, which is great for al-fresco dining, and meals by the pool, and there is also a play room with childrens toys. Local markets offer a good choice of wines as well as fresh seafood, vegetables and delicious fruits. A ten minute drive away you can take a ferry across the estuary to the old town of Blaye. Visit the lakes of Carcans and Lacanau; ideal for windsurfers or the beaches on the coast for surfing. Bordeaux has many shops, old 18th century hotels and superb museums. Parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
