From the veranda of the villa you enjoy the lush Tuscan landscape that has a historic significance: the magnificent views across rolling hills to the birthplace of Michelangelo. The veranda also commands a panorama view of Lama, the tranquil Italian village, that lies in the valley below. Among the rolling Tuscan hills, you can explore the nearby hills, fields and streams bountiful with wild life, chestnut, walnut, mushrooms, rare ferns and wild flowers.
Arriving via Florence, (less than two hours from the North), or Rome, (less than 3 hours to the South), you are immediately immersed in the tranquil environment only Tuscany can provide and the culture only found in Italy. Whether you spend your days exploring historic sites such as Anghiari, shopping in nearby Arezzo, or simply relaxing with a fine local wine on the veranda, your visit will be more memorable than ever imagined.

• Nearby Attractions: Our “hometown” Lama is a picture-perfect, small, friendly Italian village located a leisurely 5-minute stroll down the lane from the casa. In town you will find our world famous IL Rifugio Ristorate that serves authentic, fabulous, reasonably priced Tuscan cuisine. A few meters away you will find our classic small market that has fresh vegetables, fruit, bakery goods, and just about any essential item you may need. Further down the road is our excellent meat market serving wonderful cuts of beef, pork, lamb, and other local items. We also have a small hairdresser and our local coffee bar below IL Rifugio. Most importantly, you will find a village of wonderfully friendly neighbors.
Furthermore, a new sport center with world class tennis courts is a 5-minute drive from the villa.
You will also have the opportunity to visit nearby Anghiari and Caprese Michelangelo.

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance on arrival - cash or traveler's check). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel less than 90 days prior, there is no refund unless the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 6 or more days prior to arrival) - Cash
Booking deposit of 50% of total rent is paid by sending personal check.
For cancellations more than 90 days prior to planned arrival (and the unit is re-rented), deposit will be refunded by peronal check.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 12:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• All pets are allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of 100 Euro will apply. A fee of 50 Euro will apply.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
