The house is on the side of Mount Subasio in a small hamlet that dates from medieval times. It overlooks the valley below and the town of Santa Maria degli Angeli is clearly visible also Perugia on a clear day (approx 22 km away). Also views across the fields of olive trees to the nearby convent, church and views up Mount Subasio. A truly tranquil spot steeped in history.
The house consists of an Upper house & Lower Apartment.It dates from medieval times & was believed at one time to be the priest's house for the local community. Built on the side of a hill on 3 levels.Has been lovingly & tastefully restored to provide all modern conveniences of a comfortable home.Large & wide ranging selection of books,CD'S,Videos & DVD's mainly in English--available for use by guests during stay.Lower garden area accessible by external steps has a patio w/garden furniture & barbecue but otherwise open land with olive trees & fruit trees. Sun from midday & beautiful views down and across the valley & wonderful sunsets. Two open air public swimming pools open during Italian school holidays both approx 2km from house.(Spello or Assisi.)
25% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 300 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund unless re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash
If you cancel having paid the 25% deposit this will not be refunded.
Payment can be made in euros or sterling equivalent.
