• Pisa Airport is within a 60 minute(s) drive. Pisa is an International airport with good connections to major European Cities. Other airports are Genova (also 60 minutes drive), Milan (2 hours drive) Bologna (90 minutes). From Pisa airport you drive north on the motorway towards Genova and follow the sign for Parma (still motorway), exit at Aulla and drive towards Villafranca.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Zum Seri and Gireto are the two ski resort in the area, even though this is not comparable to the top resort in Switzerland and France these local resort still have good slopes, restaurant and shops. Good skiing without the massive amount of people you find in other places.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). Located in a very tranquil area but still quite close to town such as Bagnone, Vilafranca, Pontremoli as well as a number of small towns in the country side.
• Beach is located within a 45 minute(s) drive.
• Nearby Attractions: Sterpilla is good for hiking, the old Roman pilgrim road Via Francigena runs through the farm and in the forest of Sterpilla you will still find patches of the old Roman road, you can swim in the large private pool or go for a swim in the river Margra. There are tennis courts in Villafrance and watersport at the cost (45 minutes drive).
20% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking.(Balance due 30 days in advance.) A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund unless re-rented.
