This beautifully restored villa is the private winter home to a family of antique lovers. The thick stone walls ensure it is cool in the summer as well as peaceful. The main garden has a large enclosed sunbathing lawn with mature trees, whilst to the rear is a large swimming pool with high walls. The Gironde is perhaps the most important and prestigious wine-producing region in France boasting countless world-renowned appellations such as Pomerol, St. Emilion, Pauillac and Médoc. There are ferries to Citadelle de Blaye, while the more adventurous can climb the Pyla dune - the highest in Europe - or watch the surfers in Cap Ferret or Arcachon. Swimming pool (10m x 5m, depth 1m to 1.8m). The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
