Enjoying its own private swimming pool, this renovated stone farmhouse stands in its own grounds on the edge of a small hamlet with extensive views over the surrounding countryside. Built of local stone, it retains plenty of charm and character, with massive beams, exposed stone walls and tiled floor, and now provides comfortable and spacious, holiday accommodation. From this peaceful and private setting, the true taste of French rural life can be savoured, with a slow pace of life and uncrowded roads, even in summer. Nearby the medieval market town of Duras holds cultural and musical events for all tastes, while the recreational lake at St Sernin, with its sandy beach (swimming is not permitted) and shady picnic area, offers canoes, pedaloes, horse riding, cafes and restaurants. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
