• Parking Provided: 1 Garage, 3 Outdoor. Cabin is in the flat area to the left of the lower greens of the Bear Mtn golf course. The drive in from the blvd is nearly flat; up Moonridge to Tehama, to a long flat driveway right at the front door (room for 3 cars). Access in just about any weather is possible for even a tiny 2-wheel drive car. The driveway, front deck and front door are flat and provide wheel chair access to the 1st floor bedroom, bath, kitchen, and living room. There is a second driveway in front of a one-car garage for an additional car. The garage is available for your use.

All of the cabin's appliances are new and spotless. The kitchen is large and open, with room for big families and big family meals. All the pots/pans, dishes, and silverware are new and just like you would use at home (not garage sale stuff). A large collection of wine, margarita, and champagne glasses hang overhead for your happy hour use. Plastic glasses are also provided for a sip while you are in the Jacuzzi.

Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). Cabin's Master Bedroom is upstairs and isolated from the rest of the house (QUIET!) It has an high A-frame ceiling with all surfaces in pine T&G. The Queen log bed has a new firm, pillow-top quality mattress. Comfy quilts and a down comforter are provided. There is a TV with DVD/VCR on the dresser next to the bed, as well as a clock/alarm and phone. A small sitting area with a comfy padded chair next to a window is nice spot to read. The master's private bath is also all done in pine with a large log-framed mirror. The master bath has a shower, sink and toilet with shelves and a cabinet for your "stuff."

Bedroom

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). 2nd bedroom is downstairs off the front hallway. The new large-log queen bed also has a new firm, pillow-top mattress with quilts and down comforter and big new pillows. A large closet has mirrored doors giving the room a larger than real feel. There is a small TV in the dresser cabinet with a VCR. A clock/radio is provided on the night stand. The 2nd bathroom is right across the hall from this bedroom.

Loft

1 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). The Loft is spacious with a great view of the deck, Jacuzzi and surrounding trees. The A-Frame pine ceiling provides a cathedral feeling, with a ceiling fan within reach. There is a game cabinet with board games and a large library of kids’ videos and some books. The sofa bed closed leaves a large area for playing or your "stuff." Opened, there is still plenty of room to walk around the bed and room for suitcases and gear. There is an old Play Station in a cabinet next to the over sized TV, and a rocker near the huge A-Frame window to sit and enjoy the view.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin.
Bathroom 2 has toilet, shower and one basin.

View

Views of Bear Mtn ski runs and the golf course are available from the master bedroom deck upstairs and back deck downstairs. The lot has about 15 pine trees and a 8 foot Christmas tree in front for your enjoyment.

• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walk and transit in 5 minute(s). It is only 0.5 miles up to Bear Mountain, or 0.2 miles down to the shuttle. The walk to the shuttle area is about 5 minutes. Walking across the golf course and up to Beat Mtn will take 20-25 minutes.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). The Vons and Stater Bros shopping areas are about 5 minutes away. Snow summit ski area about the same. The Village is west on Big Bear blvd about 10 minutes away.
• Nearby Attractions: You can throw a ball and hit the golf course. Bear Mtn ski resort is just up the hill above the golf course. And the Moonridge Zoo is next to the golf course with unique indigenous animals; bear, cougar, bobcat, and even buffalo. Big Bear Lake is just down the hill about 10-15 minutes away. Swim, boat or fish all around the 7 mile long lake.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 300 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 150) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• A maximum of 2 Dogs are allowed under 75lbs (34kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of $200.00 will apply.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of (ask).
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
