Continuously updated and remodeled.
No stripped down vacation rental here! It's our second home. We take pride in sharing it and hope you will love it as much as we do returning often. (We have only owned the condo 2 years, but we already have returning guests!) We are continually remodeling so it is quite up to date, however, the salt air plays havoc on anything metal. We have new bamboo floors, ceiling and bath fixtures, an updated master bathroom and more. For your convenience there is free local telephone, HP 5610 All in One, high speed WIFI in the lobby, a huge variety of music CD's, beach mats, coolers, you name it!

    40 feet from the shore. Right on the ocean. Any closer you'd need a boat,,,, or maybe a surfboard. So much to see and watch; surfers, turtles (right below), flying fish, reef fishermen, night snorkelling fisherwoman, birds, boats, palm trees, sailboats, sunset dinner cruise, sunset. See the picture of the whale breeching that a guest caught off our lanai!

    • KOA Airport is within a 30 minute(s) drive. traffic can be bad along the highway. If you are leaving to catch a plane M-F anytime until 9:30, and in the afternoon 3:00 pm until 6:00, allow 1 hour. If you are arriving from the airport, relax - you're in Hawaii now! Also suggest you bring your Costco card and stop off for provisions. No, I don't work for Costco, but the COL is high in Hawaii
    • Transit: can be reached by walking for 1 minute(s). Type of transit is Shuttle. Ali'i Shuttle runs up and down throughout the day.
    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are 1 golf course(s) nearby.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 60 minute(s). look for snow on the mountain first - ask around
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are all kinds of restaurants, Magic Sands Beach is great for sunset dining, (if you must leave the lanai), up at Keauhou, as well as a grocery, hardware, drug store and movie theaters. Kona isn't far for malls, movie theaters, grocery store, even Walmart.
    • The unit is Ocean front. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. our beach is great for sunning, it comes and goes throughout the year depending on the ocean's mood. It can be a great splash area for toddlers (check carefully for sea urchins) and very, very, very (I wouldn't do it) experienced snorkellers, light "the night snorkelling fisherwoman", and surfers - this is the best surfing beach on the island.
    • Nearby Attractions: sightseeing, especially from the lanai, snorkelling, boogie boarding, surfing, swimming, golfing, tennis, hiking, sometimes skiing, boating, volcano watching, IRON Man watching, etc, etc,
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    30% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 250 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 30%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed and children under 1 years old stay free.
    • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay. If a guest leaves the unit as found, a rebate of may be provided.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
