To keep your skis in tip top shape we have provided a waxing bench inside your private heated garage. Then pop your skis back on and ski down to the Ridge Rocket chair. This truly is a ski in and ski out unit.

This is a cooks kitchen. All appliances, cook ware and dishes are new (2005)and full size. There is a large variety of spices and cooking basics as well as a coffee grinder. As a gift to start your vacation of right, we provide you with a bottle of wine for your first night (red or white). If you are flying in, owner can arrange for your groceries to be delivered directly to the chalet (only available on specific days). Please inquire at booking time. Dishwasher soap and dishwashing liquid, garbage bags,dish cloths, pot holders, etc.provided.

Bed Summary

Bedroom

1 Queen Bed. New queen bed with all new matching bedding. Beds are steam cleaned between each guest visit.

Bedroom

1 Queen Bed. Each bedroom hosts a solid oak queen size sleigh bed. Mattresses are new and will be steamed cleaned between each guest visit. The master suite has a new flat screen TV with cable hook up. Pre-set the coffee maker and have coffee ready when you wake up. Lay in bed and see which runs are open for the day.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
Bathroom 2 has toilet, shower and one basin.

View

This unit has a lovely view of the Monashee Mountains. Sunday and Wednesday are fireworks on the mountain. You can go and join the crowd or you can pour a glass of wine, start the fireplace and enjoy from the comfort of your chalet.

More Information

This unit and all of its contents are brand new and being offered for the first time this 2006/2007 season. As designers, owners have spent a lot of time and attention to detail. The unit is comfortable as well as funtional. Located in the entrance of the unit is a bench to take off your boots. The heated floor dries your boots for the next days adventure. Several hooks above the heater dry your jackets and the lower hooks dry your hats and gloves. There is a boot dryer if you're in a bigger hurry. Leave your ski gear to dry upstairs and come on down to the comfort of the home. Both bathroom floors are heated and there are lots of comfy plush towels. The bedrooms have carpet and the main floors are wood plank. The washer and dryer are there for your use and soap is provided. All furniture is high end and matching. This unit is perfect for two couples who are looking for a special vacation.

• Kelownia Airport is within a 60 minute(s) drive. Kelowna is about 50 minutes away. A shuttle is available at the airport to drive you to Big White.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are more than 10 golf course(s) nearby. There is a large variety of golf courses approx. 45-75 minutes away.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walking less than 1 minute away. There is no walking in this ski in and ski out unit. Ski off Serwa's run to the front door. Ski from front door down connector to reconnect to Serwa's run and down to Ridge Rocket lift.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 10 minute(s). The main village is located a short 10 minute walk down a well lit path.
• Lake is located within a 20 minute(s) drive. Kelowna is 45 minutes away. There are several public beaches for swimming and recreation on lake Okanagan just 55 minutes from the unit.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 1 nights rent) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for persons under the age of 5.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
