Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 King Bed. The master bedroom is the upstairs loft and the showpiece of the cabin. Spacious, king size bed, roman style tub, with his and hers closets. It is open to the rest of the cabin, when you wake up in the morning you can view the lake!

View

The view from the cabin is of the beach, the lake and the mountains on the other side----it is beautiful!

More Information

Cabin is on the south side of lake. It gets sun in the afternoon and does not get too hot as the mountain is right behind it. Cabin gets very little direct sunlight. When it's too hot we generally leave the beach and head for the cabin. The cabin is in Eagle Bay which is about 15 minutes beyond Blind Bay. The cabin is across the lake from Magna Bay. Blind Bay is about 10 minutes east of Sorrento or 20 minutes west of Salmon Arm.

Distances

• Kamloops airport is about 1 hour from the cabin, Kelowna about 2.5 hours.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Shuswap Lake Estates Golf Course is a 20 minute drive. Salmon Arm Championship Golf Course, one of the top rated courses in Canada is about a 40 minute drive. There is a brand new driving range in Eagle Bay, about 10 minutes from the cabin.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). Silver Star and Sun Peaks Ski Resorts are both about 1.5 hours drive from the cabin.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There is a small store in Eagle Bay, 10 minutes away. The Sportsmans Store in Blind Bay (15 minutes) has almost everything. Sorrento is about 20 minutes and Salmon Arm 30 minutes. DeMilles Farm market in Salmon Arm is famous for its fresh fruit and vegetables. It also now has a deli.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is small pebbles. There is a dock and moorage float/anchor. On Shuswap Lake The beach is across Eagle Bay Road from the cabin---it is a private beach.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash
If you must cancel and the unit is not re-rented credit will be given for a 1 year period for an off-season time

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A High Chair and a Play Pencan be provided.
• Check in after 3:00PM and check out before 11:00AM.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
