Beautiful semi-waterfront condo on the Shuswap Lake Have a fabulous holiday in this spacious, well appointed, immaculately maintained upper unit just steps from the beach. Our unit is dog-friendly (with pre-approval by owner). Enjoy the lake, and local mountain scenery while you enjoy your meals on the huge covered deck, or relax with a good book in the comfortable lounge chairs. The water is refreshing for swimming with a dock, buoys, & rowboat. Enjoy a fire on the beach in the evening. Trails for exploring abound in the hills behind the property. Dogs must be on leash at all times. Come enjoy some time in the beautiful Shuswap! |

Maximum Occupants
Upon departure, the unit must be left in the same condition as found on arrival. This includes cleaning and tidying the unit to the pre-rental condition. Fees will apply if left in any other state. If pet is approved, daily pet fee of $20 will apply. 8 persons

Location
Beautiful, spacious oak kitchen. Heated tile floor. Soaps, towels, cleaning supplies provided. Popcorn to pop and assorted candies for your enjoyment. The Condos have an ultraviolet water filtration and purification system which provides fantastic drinking water!
Master Bedroom
1 King Bed (sleeps 2). Private patio off the master bedroom to enjoy the morning sun on. Screened sliding patio door provides cool refreshing evening breeze. Bed has luxurious memory foam mattress topper. Huge mirrored closet, double dresser with mirror, and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom
2 Single Beds (sleeps 2). Second bedroom with two comfortable beds. There is a night table and a large closet. All linens and pillows are provided.
Living Room
2 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Beds (sleeps 4). Two new (2006) comfortable sofa beds in a large living room.
Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin.

Bathroom 2 is an en suite and has toilet, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
Picturesque view of the lake and local mountains from the front deck. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and the sound of water lapping at the beach.

Front deck overlooking the lake. Private back deck with folding drying racks available for towels etc. Please bring your own beach towels and beach chairs.

Distances
• Kelowna Airport is within a 120 minute(s) drive. The Kelowna airport is about 2 hours away and the Kamloops airport is about 1.25 hours.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are 3 golf course(s) nearby. The Eagle Bay Driving Range is located 5 minutes from the Condo. Spectacular golfing is available 15 minutes away at the Shuswap Lake Estates course (just outside of Sorrento). The Salmon Arm Golf course is also outstanding and is located a few kms south of town. • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). Excellent skiing is available in Kamloops at Sun Peaks, or in Vernon at Silver Star. Both are about 1.5 hours away. Cross country ski enthusiasts will enjoy the Larch Hills outside of Salmon Arm. These trails are open for hiking and mountain biking in the summer. The Shuswap area has many good areas for snowmobiling in winter. There are White Water Rafting expeditions available on the Adams River (45 minutes away). This river is home to spectacular salmon runs in the fall, when the fish return from the ocean to spawn. Roderick Haig Brown Park is a great place to hike and learn about the salmon. • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). 5 minutes to the east of the condo is a small convenience store and liquor outlet. 10 minutes to the west is the Sportsman store and gas bar. This little shop has hard scoop ice cream cones, a good assortment of grocery items, liquor, and an in store hot meal take out kitchen. The Blind Bay Market is 15 minutes away and has a good selection of meats, produce, baked goods and basic grocery needs and is open 7 days a week. Video and DVD rentals are also available from here. There is a Steamers Coffee shop and Deli in the same complex. Sorrento has a great Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. A larger Farmers Market can be found in Salmon Arm(40 minutes) on Tuesdays and Friday mornings at the Picadily Mall. For banking and other services Sorrento, Chase, and Salmon Arm are an easy 20-40 minute drive. • The unit is Lake front. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is a dock and moorage float/anchor. Beautiful Shuswap Lake is steps away across the road in front of the condo. The beach is large pebbles and rock. There is a rowboat and buoy to moor your boat to. There is a picnic table and fire pit on the beach. The beach area is shared by the 4-plex. Boat launches are available 5 and 15 minutes away. Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 300 is required. If you cancel 15 or more days prior to arrival, payments (less 250) are refunded.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. • Dogs are allowed but must be approved by the Owner. • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours. • No housekeeping is provided during a stay. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
