Set between the ocean and the Bassin d'Arcachon, within walking distance of both, this splendid modern property is situated in a quiet residential area close to the village shops, cafés and restaurants. Beautifully light and airy, it is well equipped and comfortable, and enjoys its own private swimming pool and pretty lawned gardens. The wild Atlantic coast provides wonderful surfing and offers miles of magnificent sandy beaches, while younger children will enjoy the quieter waters of the Bassin, collecting shells at low tide. Behind the house the pine forest offers good level cycling tracks, and tennis, riding, sailing and fishing can all be enjoyed locally. From Cap Ferret there are ferries to Arcachon and the jetties are busy with boats providing trips to the bird island in the Bassin. Located in an ideal spot to discover the famous Dune de Pyla (the highest sand dune in Europe), the Médoc region is also well worth a visit for its famous Bordeaux wines and vineyards, with many tasting tours available. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
