This 19th century château is set in large grounds, less than 30 minutes' drive from Bordeaux. The property offers a classic French country style interior with antique Henri II furniture and an antique kitchen, providing good value for a traditional ambience. It boasts its own large swimming pool with a glass cover to keep it warm in the low season. In a pastoral setting with an enclosed well tended garden, the grounds are home to many animals, including goats, ducks, geese and chickens. Libourne and Fronsac are nearby, as is Saint Emilion, famous for its wines. The property is surrounded by the vineyards of Cotes de Bourg, and is also near the fortified town of Blaye with its magnificent citadel on the Gironde estuary, where ferries can be taken to the Médoc region with its famous wine châteaux Parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
