This duplex-apartment (two Levels)of 100 sqm, is located in a fully renovated registered 18th century building ("Hotel du Palais Gallien"). This apartment has been beautifully and totally renovated in 2008 and finished with all-new furnishings, fixtures and fittings. The apartment opens on a private terrace-garden (30 m2) where you can have breakfast, lunch, diner or simply take sun. For your convenience there is WiFi and broadband Internet access (20 Mega), phone, cable TV (60 channels, BBC, CNN...) and a private parking.
• Bordeaux - Merignac Airport is within a 20 minute(s) drive.
• Transit: can be reached by walking for 2 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. all buses, tramways and taxi are close to the apartment.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 2 minute(s). Bordeaux is for sophisticated living, often being described as a "mini Paris". Our apartment was selected for its very central location in the heart of the city. The apartment is situated between the prestigious shopping street "Cours de l’Intendance" and the famous Gambetta Garden-square. All this area offers a smart selection of bistro restaurants, cafés, boutique clothes and jewelry shops, delicatessen and specialized gift shops. All shops and the tramway are literally just steps away.
• Nearby Attractions: It is the ideal location to explore both the city and the most famous wine region in the world.
Less than 40 minutes via train or car make easy day trips to the famous attractions of the region: St. Emilion and Chateau Margaux, the dunes of Arcachon, and seaside resort towns such as Cap Ferret and Lacanau. One can make it back in time for dinner and a night at the opera.
Longer day trips can take you to Biarritz--the seaside destination of choice for royals past and present; or the paleolithic cave paintings at Lascaux; explore the heart of Basque country in Pau; or cross the border into Spain and experience the paella and spectacular nightlife in San Sebastian. At your apartment, you're at the center of it all.
The payment policy is flexible and can be worked out with the owner. A refundable security/damage deposit of 800 is required. If you cancel less than 60 days prior, there is no refund. Owner accepts payments by: PayPal BALANCE PAYMENT and REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT: The balance must be paid at latest 10 days before the arrival date, by credit card through Paypal, or cash on arrival (no credit card and no checks on arrival at the apartment). The refundable damage security deposit must be paid only by credit card through Paypal at latest 10 days before your arrival (no cash accepted on arrival). It will be refunded by Paypal at the end of your stay.
CANCELLATION: We do not refund the booking deposit if the cancellation is made less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival. We refund the booking deposit (less 150 euros for administration costs) if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the scheduled arrival.
Should be the balance and the damage security deposit already paid at the moment of cancellation, the balance and the damage security deposit will be refunded in full.

• Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for persons under the age of 10.
• Check in after 1:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
