Close to Thiviers in the northern part of the Dordogne, this most attractive house stands in extensive enclosed gardens with a large private swimming pool overlooking the countryside. The rooms are spacious, well proportioned and attractively furnished, opening on to shady terraces to both front and rear. There are many enchanting towns to visit nearby, including riverside Brantome, Bourdeilles dominated by its medieval castle and Hautefort with its famous chateau, as well as prehistoric caves at Montignac, Villars and Lascaux. The markets at Thiviers and Montignac provide excellent local produce, and there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, including canoeing on the River Dordogne from Brantome, trout fishing. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
