We had a fabulous stay at this bright, spacious, family-oriented home. Upon walking in the main entrance, the hallway leads to a large Greatroom with a gorgeous view of Tod Mountain from the kitchen, dining area and living room. Out on the patio is an inviting hot tub and very nice barbeque. Up the stairs from the main entrance are 4 bedrooms with very comfy beds and lots of linens.
The kitchen was well stocked with every imaginable spice and a large assortment of cookware. The washer and dryer are front loading and work very well. The atmosphere was relaxing and had a nice country decor. There is lots of seating room and this home is well equipped for large groups. The many board games available made for great entertainment for me. We specially enjoyed the foosball table.
We walked to the village along the valley trail and it took approximately 25 minutes at a leisurely pace. To go skiing early, we piled in the car and drove 2 minutes to the main base. We could have walked across the main road instead and gone up the Burfield chair---but it opened a bit later than the others. Coming back for lunch, we either took the two trails off of Morrisey that lead to our road or we found the little trail off the Sunburst chair that let us out on the main road directly across from the house - a short walk.
Overall, a great place for a fun group gathering! I would definitely go back again. My friends thought it would be a perfect place to stay during the summer mountain biking season as there is lots of room in the garage to store all the bikes and equipment.
