Parking Provided: 1 Outdoor. Parking is free of charge, but the area is not gated. Guards walk the premises at night. Guests are asked to park on the East side of the property and leave the stalls in front of the stairs to the owners of the property of Nanny Estate as well as for arrivals of taxi's. Persons with disabilities shall contact the owner to make other arrangements.

Unique open spaced kitchen area tells of the history of the villa as a restaurant. The impressive solid mahogany bar separates the kitchen area from the living and dining area while providing a casual breakfast place. The kitchen is lit through almost ceiling high large sliding windows with screens. A true commercial range / oven is spacious enough to roast the turkey for a family of 6 plus trimmings!

1 King Bed (sleeps 2). This bedroom features a beautiful custom built king-sized bed and the 2nd TV is in this room. This room looks out towards the gardens, plenty of light, ac and ensuite bathroom, hardwood clad ceilings, floor is polished flagstone.

This unit has a view of the Bay of Cabarete. The living room overlooks a tropical garden, communal pool, and the ocean. The living room can be turned into an out-door area by opening the ceiling high sliding doors. The kitchen has a ground floor patio with a sitting area. The master bedroom looks towards the gardens and parking area, the 2nd and 3rd bedroom to residential area of Bahia de Arena.

More Information

Complimentary drinks upon arrival. A Dominican cook can be arranged for your stay; inquire directly about cost and your eating preferences with Owner during your 24 hour Grace Period. Can arrange crib rentals for $5.00 USD. The resort provides laundry, ($3USD per load), and babysitting services.

Distances

The distance to the nearest International Airport is approx. 30 minutes. The short for the airport is POP - Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The next airport in Santiago is about 1 1/2 hour drive and the Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo approx. 4 hours. Pick up can be arranged from all of these. Please check with owner for applicable rates at the time of booking. The current (2005) rates are: Puerto Plata airport to Cabarete 25 US$ one way: Santiago airport to Cabarete 75 US$ one way: Santo Domingo airport to Cabarete 135 US$ one way.
Golf: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). A vehicle/taxi is required if you wish to take your own clubs to our local golf course (9 hole) situated at "Costa Azul" residential complex. Nice for practice shots, a little something, but don't set your expectations to high. It is a small course. The Playa Grande Robert Trent Jones designed 18 hole golf course requires a vehicle for the 1.5 hour drive along the coast. It is a truly breathtaking course set on the cliffs. Playa Dorada, designed by R.T. Jones as well, is another 18 hole course about 1 hour drive towards Puerto Plata.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). A small convenience store is a 2 minute walk away. The larger shopping and dining areas are about a 10 minute walk but local transportation or a taxi is always available. Dining: some restaurants are less than 10 minutes away, however the center of town with beach restaurants and bars is about 10 + minutes. At night time taxis can be arranged at the reception desk. Shopping Centers: there are some supermarkets in town, and a large center is in Sosua town which is a 15 minute drive away.
Beach surface is fine sand. The complex is on the ocean only a few steps to the water. A surfing beach, "Encuentro", is a short drive away. It offers good early morning surf conditions. A unique combination of winds (trade winds), tranquil waters, fine weather, and beautiful scenery are making Cabarete world famous as an international windsurfing and kite-boarding destination. International championships for both activities have been held on the beach. Equipment can be rented in some of the many schools in town or you can bring your own. If you have some experience, launch off right in front of the property.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

25% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due on arrival). A refundable security/damage deposit of 150 is required. You will receive a 25% credit on a booking made within one year if you cancel anytime.

We also accept Cashiers Cheque but sorry, no money orders Christmas/New Year a minimum stay of 7 nights and a deposit of a total of 50% is required up front.

Policies

Smoking is allowed.
Children are allowed and children under 14 years old stay free. A Crib can be provided with a deposit/fee of: 5 $ / day.
Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Housekeeping is provided daily during a stay.
Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
