In town Victorian home This home has been completely renovated (2007 / 2008) with new floors and built in book cases. There are Chinese antique screens built into the archway in the living room. The kitchen is state of the art and the washer / dryer units are Bosch machines. The house is bright and cheerful, with Queen Anne antique colored glass in the windows and doors. The floors are cherry wood and the rooms are all well-lit and have a wonderful cross breeze. |

Kitchen is modernized with a Dacor gas-top stove and electric convection oven. There is a large, central island for preparation and an in-kitchen eating space, in addition to the dining room.

Bathroom 2 has toilet, shower and one basin. Bathroom 3 is an en suite and has toilet, bathtub and two basins. Bathroom 4 has toilet, shower and one basin.
There is no direct view of the water from the house, but one only need walk out the front gate and turn left and the view of the bay is immediate.

• Knox Country Airport is within a 30 minute(s) drive. The airport at Owls Head is serviced by flights from Boston, Massachusetts and Bangor, Maine.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are 3 golf course(s) nearby. • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). The village center has many excellent restaurants, there are four book stores in town, an art cinema, art galleries, and antique shopping for English ceramics, clocks, furniture and other collectibles. The 1920's library is also just a couple of minutes walk down the street. • Ocean is located within a 4 minute(s) walk. The harbor is the shortest walk, but ten minutes walk beyond the harbor is the town beach, which is also a park. In nearby Rockport, there is another beach, as well as in each town to the north and south of Camden. Beach Equipment: Canoe. • Nearby Attractions: There is a fine lake five minutes drive to the west of town and there are festivals and fairs throughout the summer. Check the local website for relevant dates. In the summer, there are theater performances at the local Opera House or in the open air theater next to the library and there are Classical music performances in the Rockport Opera House - just a ten minute drive from the house.

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance).

Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
• No smoking is allowed.
• No children are allowed under 5 years old. • Check in after 2:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request. • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals). • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours. • No Maid Service is provided during a stay. If a guest leaves the unit as found, a rebate of deposit refund may be provided. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
