Oceanfront Villa With Tennis Court
We had an idea to use antique wooden elements to build our home in Bali right at the ocean with the white sand beach. Our searches resulted in buying an entire house from Kudus, Java that is about 150 years old. We deconstructed the elaborately carved teak house to combine the unique artistry of the original graceful structure with contemporary architectural elements. The antique carving of the walls, both inside and outside, and the conveniences of a contemporary home is well suited to our location at the ocean. Years of searching, conversing and building, resulted in this masterpiece.
