This 3BD/2BA condo was built with gold LEED standards, but does not compromise on luxury and comfort. Award winning designer Dominic Blanchet, and his team at Domicile Interiors in Calgary who specialize in hotels, restaurant/bars and high-end resorts was commissioned to create this functional whimsical dream vacation place.
This serene modern 1900sq’ indoor/outdoor living space feels more spacious with its clean open concept main living area, vaulted ceilings, restaurant quality lighting, large towering picture windows with its extraordinary views and its three outdoor patios on two levels. The functional flow and use of gathering area was prioritized when designing the interior. There are two bedrooms and a bath on the main floor, and a master bedroom and a loft on the upper level.
Each of the three bedrooms was designed with a zen feel. From pressed linens, Ipod docking stations, organized closets to custom furnishings and flat screen televisions in every bedroom. The two bathrooms have been well thought out from the Rinnai continuous hot water system, to the built in hair dryers, lighted shaving / makeup mirrors, custom tailored curtains, and Italian glass tile. The master bathroom even has a rain shower from the ceiling.
In this fine place, you will find the kitchen to be the heart and soul of the home where everyone seems to gather. If you enjoy cooking you'll love this truly gourmet working kitchen. It was designed to be ergonomic, fun and contemporary. With soft closing zebra like wood cabinets and drawers, tons of lighting and granite counter space for prepping, and of course some of the newest energy efficient built-in appliances. You'll find the drawers professionally organized so that you have everything you might need to create and serve those healthy meals. Once you finished cooking you might find yourself at the chefs table that can seat eight people. This fun dining area was designed to maximize space with a built in banquette that goes halfway around this unique dining table placed on a beautiful teak tree stump that is over 100 years old.
If your too tired or don’t know how to cook that’s alright because there are lots of great restaurants in close proximity, such as Crazy Weeds, the Railroad deli or even The Trough that got voted 7th best new restaurant in all of Canada . When you’re not out shopping, playing or exploring our charming town, you might find your self in the living room or up in the loft playing one of the board games or reading a book and looking at the spectacular views
You could say you entered Canadian modern with fine appointments that you'll encounter in leading small boutique hotels around the world. Nothing was overlooked from the entry closet safe for your passports, cameras, etc. to the stocked mini fridge in the bedroom. You'll find beauty all around you in the contemporary landscape paintings, Italian glass and sculptures.
