The cottage is in a quiet area with easy access to Guincho Beach. There is a garden and a veranda with considerable space. Only a few minutes walk away are fields with a small Roman archaeological site. The cottage is on the same large property as the owner's house and the larger villa - Owner Direct #56804. However, it is totally independent with its own entrance and car park. It is entirely surrounded by a wire fence. Because of the fine climate in this area, many meals can be taken outside - even in winter.

About the owner: I am a concert violinist. For those interested in classical music, I am happy to offer a double CD of the Paganini caprices, together with stories - very suitable for children.

• Transit: can be reached by driving for 1 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. There is excellent train service from Cascais to Lisbon. Guests are encouraged to leave the car in Cascais in order to avoid the traffic of Lisbon and parking problems. Cascais station is about a 10 minute drive from the cottage.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). There are 5 golf course(s) nearby.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 3 minute(s). There are excellent restaurants on Guincho Beach. However, the nearby village - Areia - has several good and popular-priced restaurants, and of course Cascais has a great variety of restaurants for all price-ranges. There is a moderte sized supermarket about 8 minutes drive. The village of Areia has basic groceries available and magnificent fresh bread.
• Ocean is located within a 3 minute(s) drive.
• Nearby Attractions: Beach, Sintra Mountains, Rustic walks to nearby villages, Cascais. The owners are happy to recommend day tours to such places as Obidos, Evora, Tomar, Sessimbra and of course Lisbon.
Payments and Policies
Payment Details
25% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due on arrival). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 30%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 12:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
