There is an electric cooker with 4 hotplates, a grill and an oven.
1 King Bed. King size in England means 5ft wide. The bed is a splendid Victorian Brass bed dating from around 1890. It has a new mattress and base.
1 Queen or 2 Singles Bed (sleeps 2), 1 Double Bed (sleeps 2) and 1 Single/Twin Bed (sleeps 1). There is also a folding futon (sleeps one adult/child) in this room.
There is a further bedroom in a medieval bee-house a few yards from the barn that can be rented in addition - it has two single or one double bed in it and an ensuite shower room. Email us for further information.
Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
The barn is in the countryside next to a small working farm. There are 5 dwellings in the hamlet. The north and south views are along a very quiet country road, the east/south east view is of buildings and a small working farmyard, the west view is the best across fields - we get spectacular sunsets.
There is a small south facing patio with views west across fields.
There is a second (larger) cottage across a small yard. Unit 18175.
- Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There is a public golf course about 15 minutes drive away.
- Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). A car is required because the farm is about 1.5 miles from the nearest (small) town of Castle Cary. There you can get all essential supplies and you will find an interesting mix of shops, pubs and a few restaurants.
- The sea at Weymouth, Lyme Regis and Weston-super-Mare are about 90 minutes drive away.
All of the rent is required (60 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 20%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

- Children are allowed. A Crib and a High Chaircan be provided.

- There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
