    This beautiful house was built in the 1940's on a point overlooking Okanagan Lake and is in the area know as Poplar Point. The home has seen some updating in the early 1990's but has the original exterior made from concrete block with rounded corners and extensive rock gardens and rock walls. To the north, your view is up towards McKinley Landing and over to Bear Creek Provincial Park. To the west, you look at the Raymer Bay area of the lake. The sun sets through large 6x6 windows in the sun room located on the west and north side of the house. Amazing views of the mountains and the Okanagan Lake are before you any time of the year. The large side yard has a sitting area in the middle of the garden and lots of old rock walkways and flower beds. From the cedar deck, you can see the waters of Okanagan Lake and watch the sailboats race right in front of the residence or moor your boat directly in front.

    Satellite TV is available though Star Choice. A 6x10 dog pen (galvanized fence product) is also situated on the property with a cover for protection from the summer sun. This beautiful home is located on Okanagan Lake and in close proximity to the Knox Mountain area north of the city of Kelowna and away from the hussle and bussle of the city. This park allows dog walks along the shore of the lake, hiking and mountain biking at your rear doorstep. Take a hike up Knox Mountain and enjoy the fantastic view of Okanagan Lake from many angles along the way.

    Distances
    • Our home is located approximately 25 minutes from the airport and in the north sector of the city. The area is serviced by private vehicle and there is no city bus service to the lot line yet there is service approximately 3 city blocks towards town.
    • Golf: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Close to Kelowna Country Golf Club and easy access to all other golf courses in the area.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). This home gives you the best of locations.. You can choose Big White one day and then travel to Silver Star the next... each only 1 hour away.. Should you want to go south to Apex, it is approx. 1 1/2 hours away.. easy drives in all directions.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). Downtown Kelowna is a short 20 minute walk and the Grand Hotel, city park area, less than a 5 minute drive. Prospera Place is located a short distance from the house as is the City's waterfront park.
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is small pebbles. There is a moorage float/anchor. Being right on Okanagan Lake gives you all the privacy and enjoyment you can handle plus a beautiful garden. The beach is located below the house via a small path leading down to a small local resident beach. A sun tan deck is located above the rocks and our mooring buoy is just a short way off the shore, large enough for a 20-25 foot boat.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 1,000 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 12:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
