Set in extensive grounds with a small stream, this former mill has been renovated by the architect owner, with a modern interior including contemporary paintings and a cellar providing some excellent wines from the local area. The wooden terrace enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The owner's English speaking daughter lives in the second detached property and is on hand for advice regarding the area. The property is in a peaceful setting, yet close to Auxerre which boasts shops, restaurants and museums; fishing is available within 100m, and the vineyards, bio vegetable gardens and local wine producers in the Chablis region are within easy reach. Paris is easily accessible by motorway or train. Parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
