This modest 2-bedroom townhouse preserves an authentic French working class character. The kitchen and bathroom were recently renovated (2009), along with other basic painting, decorating and renewal projects. The village sits on the River Yonne and Canal du Nivernais, and is very well appointed with amenities including a tiny supermarket, boulangerie (bakery), pharmacy, bars and restaurant, bank (with automatic teller) and marina on the canal. The village is overlooked by a lovely old church which has a 9th century crypt.

Guests may only arrive on: Saturday.
Special Conditions
* Stays of less than one week must fall between two Saturdays.
* Guests must not climb the stairs or attempt to enter the upstairs floor, which is not habitable.
* Under no circumstances shall the owner's liability to the client exceed the amount paid for the rental period.
* The Owners reserve the right to refuse any booking without an explanation. Bookings cannot be made more than two (2) years in advance of the intended date of arrival, unless expressly approved.

Payments and Policies
Payment Details
20% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking.(Balance due 30 days in advance.) A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 20%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: PayPal - Direct Bank Deposit
Direct bank deposits can be made to either a French or an Australian account.

Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• A maximum of 1 Dog or Cat is allowed under 40lbs (14kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
