Ancient castle dating back to the 15th century and built on a tuff rock outcrop in a dominating position between two green valleys. Panoramic views of the valleys and woods. Peaceful and isolated position. On the property, abt. 50 m from the entrance, large lawn with swimming pool (16x7) (15/5-30/9) reserved for guests, with external shower, loungers, sunshades and table-tennis. Small multi-purpose field which can be utilised for playing tennis and football, volleyball court, hiking routes, table football, table-tennis, boules pitch, billiards and sauna (to be paid for on the spot), outside games area for children. Parking. Access along 900m of dirt track road through woods, no access for buses.
The recently renovated castle is suggested for a group of 24 people: it provides communal living quarters consisting of 3 reception rooms one of which has a TV and 12 simply furnished but complete bedrooms each with private bathroom with shower. Each bedroom has its own washbasin and small gas cooker. Available to the guests: washing machine (5 Euro/washload), dishwasher for large groups (50 Euro/week), baby-bed (25 Euro/week). Additional beds are available in bedrooms situated ouside the castle but still inside the property (90 Euro/week/person everything included) to be paid directly on the spot, for a maximum of 40 people. Domestic help, a cook for lunches (11 Euro/hour, home cooking) are available. DISTANCES: Abt. 900m food shop/bar/telephone, 7 km Bagnoregio (various shops) and Civita di Bagnoregio, known as the dying city, 15 km Lake Bolsena (public and beaches where you can hire deck-chairs), 20 km Viterbo, 29 km Orvieto.
ACCOMMODATION: Access via a small brick bridge (former drawbridge) from which you reach an internal paved courtyard where there are two small and identical houses, each with two twin bedded rooms with bathroom with shower (one on the gr. fl., one on the 1st fl.). There is another double bedroom with bathroom with shower which overlooks this courtyard. In the middle of the two small houses is a small church set aside for listening to music in. To the side of one of the houses is an area equipped with tables for outdoor dining and an ancient barbecue. From the small courtyard you reach: the kitchen, in a simple style but fully equipped; the communal rooms (120 m2) one of which has an ancient fireplace and WC; the 1st fl. bedrooms and the 2nd fl. (the 2nd fl. is under the eaves where the low corridors lead to the rooms), and; via a staircase with lighting, underground passages and a cellar-like cave dug out of the tuff. Central heating.

The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
