Fontevecchia is a delightful tourist centre that has just been completed with only 15 apartments, consisting of three stone-built houses approx. 50 m from one another situated in the middle of a vast green area made into a lawn. Fontevecchia is situated on the side of a hill on the top of which stands the medieval town of Casole d'Elsa. Particularly strategic geographic position for visiting the most interesting cities of art and the very beautiful Chianti. The property is characterised by an area where three swimming pools have been built. There is a main pool (8x16), a second pool (8x9) adjacent to the first one with a Jacuzzi system and a smaller third pool (25 m2) for children. All of the apartments, built according to Tuscan country style, have air conditioning, they are equipped the most modern appliances and are pleasantly furnished and equipped. Each apartment on the ground floor has a private grassy area, while the ones situated on the first floor can make use of a large private equipped terrace (barbecue shared between the 6 apartments in the given area). Peaceful position. View of the lawns and the surrounding green hills. It is possible to hire bicycles, towels for the swimming pool and additional linen (prices to be agreed upon on the spot). Babysitter service is available on request. Laundry facilities shared between the 6 apartments with coin-operated washing machines. Approx. 250 m away below is a small restaurant which offers special prices for the guests of Fontevecchia; when booking it is possible to reserve breakfast (Euro 6/person) and dinner (Euro 16/person, drinks not included). The last stretch of road is a dirt track, but suitable for all kinds of cars.Parking. Central heating.
ACCOMMODATION: 1st fl.: kitchen/dining room with double divan bed (satellite TV), kitchen coner (freezer) direct access to a private terrace (approx. 20 m2) equipped with table for outdoor dining and sun umbrella, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedded room with bathroom with shower.
LOCATION: Casole d'Elsa (all kinds of shops) can be reached on foot (800 m) by following along an old road or by car (4.2 km). The very beautiful historic centre of Colle Val d'Elsa is 11 km away, S. Gimingano, one of the most visited towns in Tuscany, is only 21 km away and the other pearl of Tuscany, the city of Volterra, is only 30 km away. Siena is 35 km away and Florence can be reached in about an hour by car.
The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
