Activities
There are courts for tennis, volleyball and badminton as well as a horseshoe pit. The games room (which is usually open till about 10p.m.) has a ping-pong table, dartboard and a coin-operated pool table for guest use. Canoes and rowboats are offered to guests as a complimentary courtesy. There are endless trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and snow-mobiling. The lake is stocked by the fisheries with Eastern Brook and Rainbow trout.

Distances
There is abundant wildlife in the area and it is an easy hike to any of the adjacent lakes (Haynes, Minnow, McCulloch or Pear lakes). It is approximately four kilometers from the Kettle Valley Railway Corridor and the breathtaking views from the Myra Canyon trestles. Idabel Lake is a swimming lake. It is two miles long. The sandy beach area and a sixty foot floating dock are adjacent to the lodge. It is approximately thirty minutes drive to Kelowna for shopping and dining. Alternately, in the winter, it takes about the same time to drive to Big White Village where you can also dine.
