Distances
Snorkeling is a five minute walk down the road, and the town of Kailua-Kona is ten minutes away. Located directly across the street from "Jameson's By the Sea", a fine dining restaurant.
The complex is directly across the street from White Sands Beach (also know as Magic Sands Beach), along with it's restaurant and oceanside park. 'Magic Sands Beach' is so called as every year around March and April, the sands are stripped away by heavy seas and currents, exposing rough coral and making the area rugged for swimming. People still come here during those months because it is a good vantage point for observing migrating humpback whales. Kahalu'u Beach Park, a great snorkeling beach and park, is just a few minutes south. A large sandy beach can be found at the renowned Hapuna State Park, a fifty-five minute drive north on Hwy 19. It is almost 700 yards long. During good weather the swimming is good and life guards are on duty. It is a two hour and twenty minute drive to Volcanoes National Park. Kona Country Club is three miles south; it has two championship courses; the Ocean course and the Mountain course. There is a pro shop, driving range, restaurant and lounge.
