    Pinehurst Apartment is a very private area it is located in the middle of Iron Shore 18 hole golf course, surrounded by Tropical plants and flowers, in a very nice gated community off the beaten path, but close to everything. This apartment complex is secure and surrounded with ten foot walls. The main gate is a monitored two way security-camera and a guard on duty. Kids can play freely around the complex while the adults lay out at the pool enjoying the hot sun. Also let's not forget about the state of art gym, for those looking to stay toned. This is one of my favorite places to unwind and tone up, the gym is it is well kept. And if you just rather catch a little sun in the privacy of your own yard you can. If you where to ask me, I would say it is a steal for the price so come and enjoy my property here in Jamaica. The supermarkets are a short drive off the mountain, five (5) minutes by car. If you want to grab a bite to eat, there is a choice of restaurant to choose from on a international cuisine level, from Indian, Italian, Jamaican, Thai, Chinese and let's not forget Burger King, all within five (5) minutes drive from the apartment. Also if you want the catch of the day, the fish market is right down the mountain, but you have to get there early to get the best. If you are looking to spend your day on a beach close to the apartment, there are many to chose from. A favorite is at the Coyaba Hotel. Also their breakfast is very affordable and delicious. I do recommend for your evening meal if you choose to go out, Mystic India. The food is absolutely gorgeous. The service is amazing, and I love there wine collection, this restaurant is located five (5) minutes drive from the apartment in Whittier Village. A very nice shopping center. Other close beaches, are Sandal resort, Holiday Inn, RIU and the top most exclusive, is Half Moon. I like this community because if I wanted to take a walk with my love one, it is safe, no worries.

A large private roof top terrace provides beautiful views of the Central Mountain Range and Caribbean Sea. Facilities include a large pool with hot tub and kids section, half basket ball court, kids play ground, BBQ grills and a Gazebo area that could be rented for activities. Great location for family get together, year round golf, daily sunsets from your own terrace and late evening swim at the pool. Golf Course: El Legado is designed by Puerto Rican Hall of Fame Golfer Chi Chi Rodriguez. Enjoy like two different courses in a single day as the course plays differently during the evening round compared to the morning one. Technically, it is not a links course however it does play like one. Green fees are reasonable for a well maintained golf course; approximately $50 for a round of 18 with a cart. Check out twilight hour rates for the best golfing experience. Costa Caribe Golf Resort in Ponce , Caguas Real in Caguas and Palmas del Mar Golf Resort in Humacao are within 30-60 minutes drive making El Legado an affordable base location for a great golf getaway in Tropics. Location: Easily accessible from San Juan International airport (SJU, about 50 minutes drive through the lush Central Mountain Range) and Ponce (about 30 minutes via highway). The nearby city of Guayama (just 7-10 minutes drive) provides all the amenities. City of Caguas has a 30 minutes drive, and provides Costco, Sam's Club, nice restaurants and shopping malls. Probably the sunniest spot in Puerto Rico so Activities: Puerto Rico is relatively a large island with wide verity of activities for all ages and tastes. El Legado provides an excellent transit location for major attractions (30-70 minutes drive) such as El Yunque rain forest; Spanish era city of Ponce; shopping, dining and nightlife in San Juan, world heritage sites of Spanish fort El Morro and San Cristobal, sandy beaches of west and natural wonder of bio luminescent in La Parguera. Stunning palm lined beaches and local communities of south, east and central Puerto Rico are easily accessible (within 10-30 minutes). Nearby Pozuelo area (lovingly called Keys of Puerto Rico) is local favorite for eco tourism, boating, standup paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving and sea food restaurants. Our favorites are watching cactus plants and rain forest with in 30 minutes drive, accessing El Yunque from the south east approach, enjoying Lechon Asado (Roasted Pork) in Guavate and sea food in Pozuelo. Access to the residential community is via 24/7 manned guardhouse. Your coming shall be notified before arrival. Here you can wander around the shaded streets, in and out of museums and art galleries, surrounded by exquisite architecture. • You could easily spend days exploring the cobbled streets, with so much to see. Highlights are the beautiful squares: Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Caterdal and Plaza Vieja; as well as streets such as Calle Mercaderes and Obispo. Getting Here: Visitors can either pick up a taxi outside the terminal, or we would be more than happy to arrange for private transportation from door to door, for a small cost. The apartment is a 30 minute car ride from the International Airport. The fare should be around 35 CUC, and it is a good idea to make sure that the taxi meter is working or you agree a price with the driver before you set off.
