Guests may only arrive on: Sunday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

We do not accept any animals except for those required for people with disabilities.
Use of indoor swimming pool is negotiable and owner must be notified at least 15 days in advance to ensure pool is heated to 85 degrees F and ready for use. Extra fees for pool use is 500.00 per week.

This is a very private executive ocean home with ocean view from almost every room in the house.

More Information

This should be a stay that you will enjoy and our task is to make sure that happens. Do not hesitate to tell us in advance what it is that will make you happy to be at our home and we will try to have it done. We can provide you with a specially cooked for you dinner and service or let you serve yourselves. If you wish to have a roast on the beach we will be happy to bring all the equipment to have a pig or lamb roast and prepare specialty foods for your party. If you are celebrating a special occasion let us know so we can make special arrangements to make this a memorable one. We know you will be back soon!

• Comox Airport is within a 25 minute(s) drive. Pick up and Delivery can be arranged for an extra fee.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are 10 golf course(s) nearby.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 30 minute(s). Mount Washington is one of the best skiing facilities in the province and will be used for training for the 2010 Olympic games. Excellent cross country trails groomed daily. Summertime walk trails, swimming in Helen Makenzie Lake and cycling down the mountain slopes.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 25 minute(s). Driving to Comox/Courtenay or Campbell River is equal distance away about 20 to 25 minutes. Excellent restaurants and shopping in all areas. Native Indian art galleries in all locations. Internationally known Canadian painter Brian Scott lives and paints nearby. Kingfisher Oceanside Resort and Spa for those who wish to treat themselves.
• The unit is Ocean front. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is large pebbles. There is a dock and moorage float/anchor. The dock is public. There is room for 60 boats. Two Marinas are within 10 minute drive. Nearest is Pacific Playgrounds about 5 km door to door. Summertime swimming at Miracle Beach where the annual Sand Castles Tournament takes place. Polar Bear Swim on New Years day at Miracle Beach Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby and Row Boat.
• Nearby Attractions: Tennis courts (free) 6 minutes drive at the Black Creek Hall. Fish hatchery at Campbell River. World famous fishing pier at Campbell River where u rent gear for a couple of dollars and fish for large salmon. Ferries to Quadra and Denman Islands nearby for day trips.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

20% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking.(Balance due 30 days in advance.) A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 30%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival) - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• Dogs are allowed under 15lbs (7kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 100.00 per day.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
• Optional pool heat is available for 500.00 per week. A minimum of 7 days of heat is required. For stays longer than 7 nights pool heat is prorated using weekly rate.
