We are located on the Northern California Coast 20 miles south of the Oregon Border. We are 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean, 8 blocks from the center of town, 12 blocks from Safeway shopping center, 10 blocks from the new Home Depot,
and 5 miles form Redwoods National Forest and Jedidiah Smith State Park.

We are 5 miles from the last truly wild River in the US "The Smith River", 20 miles south of the Chetco River, and 20 miles North of the Klamath River with some of the best Steelhead and Salmon Fishing in the world.

We have 3 nice golf courses within 20 miles.

    120 degree view from upstairs bedroom #4 bay-window, of Pacific ocean from the harbor to Brother Johnathan Park. Nice view from upstairs bedroom #3 of Pacific ocean and Park.
    More Information
    We have recently added a 150 sq foot Deck at floor level accessed by a French door off the kitchen. The deck has 3 park type bench seats which convert to park like table/seat combo. There is a staircase leading to the backyard which has a gas BBQ and a commercial stainless steel triple sink and food preparation area. Adequate lawn furniture for 6 is also provided.

    • CEC 1.5 miles along scenic pebble beach drive
    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Crescent City has a nice 9 hole "pitch and putt" golf course, a much larger 9 hole course about 10 miles from town and a very nice 18 hole course in nearby Brookings Oregon (25 minutes). Coming in 2006 an Arnold Palmer 18 hole signature course!
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). Approximately 100 miles to Ashland Oregon, 150 miles to Bend Oregon.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). Downtown is a brisk 5 minute walk from the home; the shopping centers are another 10 minutes. A vehicle is recommended for sight seeing along the coast and in the Redwoods. There are 3 very nice undeveloped rivers within a 25 minute drive. There are also numerous state and national parks within 25 minutes by car.
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is small pebbles. There is a moorage float/anchor. A nice leisurely 2 block walk down a quiet street past a great kids park brings you to Brother Johnathan Point with a wonderful view of Battery Point Lighthouse and the cliffs and beaches. Walk another block and you come to a drive ramp down to the ocean and a large flat area full of tidepools. Beach access 2 blocks, nice childrens park 1 block.

    The booking is confirmed with a credit card and payment made on arrival. A refundable security/damage deposit of 250 is required. If you cancel 30 or more days prior, payments are refunded.
    Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - American Express - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Discover Card - Cash - Travelers Cheques
    Company, Federal, State, and School checks accepted with prior approval. We prefer a personal check for your Cleaning and Security Deposit so we may void it and mail it back to you.
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed and children under the age of 2 years old stay free. A Crib and a High Chaircan be provided.
    • Check in after 4:00PM and check out before 11:00AM.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
