El Cuyo is a quaint fishermen village in the Yucatecan emerald coast. You can find this charming village on the beach at the northeast coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, where the turquoise blue Caribbean get together with the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It is located only two hours from Cancun and three and a half hours from the colonial city of Merida, capital of the Yucatan state. El Cuyo is a small beach community where you will enjoy the ambiance of a port. Everything about it invites you to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature. El Cuyo is located inside the National Park of Ria Lagartos, which is internationally famous for the 30,000 pink flamingos that come to the area between January and September for reproduction. It is also the home of the Sea Turtle that visits the beach shores between June and August to lay their eggs in the sand. You can visit also: Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, Holbox Island, Valladolid, Izamal, private cenotes and undiscovered Caverns.

• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 2 minute(s). You will find several restaurants around the main plaza of the town, as well as grocery stores, pharmacy, bakery, liquor store, golf cart rental, internet cafe, etc..
• The unit is Ocean front. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. There is a dock. There is room for 121 boats. Puerto del Cuyo has over 25 miles of fine white beaches filed with coconut palm trees. The port is located 2 miles from Villa del Cuyo and has capacity for more than 400 boats. Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby.

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel less than 90 days prior, there is no refund unless the unit is re-rented. Owner accepts payments by: Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash - Western Union

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A Crib and a High Chair can be provided.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 15.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
