Puerto del Cuyo is a quiet, relaxed and cosy Mexican fisher village, just like Cancun used to be 35 Years ago. The Lighthouse is just a couple of walking minutes away from the Main Square where you find several restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, bakery, etc. The 1500 Inhabitants are dedicated fishermen with their families that welcome every visitor with a smile on their face. For Guests that would like Puerto del Cuyo, just like every other area in the Yucatan are very safe and locals are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The Highways are all paved and signs make it easy to find your way around to other Sightseeing spots that are worth a visit.
El Cuyo is a quaint fishermen village in the Yucatecan emerald coast. You can find this charming village on the beach at the northeast coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, where the turquoise blue Caribbean get together with the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It is located only two hours from Cancun and three and a half hours from the colonial city of Merida, capital of the Yucatan state. El Cuyo is a small beach community where you will enjoy the ambiance of a port. Everything about it invites you to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature. El Cuyo is located inside the National Park of Ria Lagartos, which is internationally famous for the 30,000 pink flamingos that come to the area between January and September for reproduction. It is also the home of the Sea Turtle that visits the beach shores between June and August to lay their eggs in the sand. You can visit also: Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, Holbox Island, Valladolid, Izamal, private cenotes and undiscovered caverns

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 100 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 5:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM.
• A maximum of 1 pet is allowed under 15lbs (7kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of 100 will apply.
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 12:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
• Maid Service is provided every 4 days during a stay. An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 25 usd.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
